Pandora's Box

Pandora's Box is a conceptual project about Pandora having a subbrand catered to young girls and teens. In this project I created logos, ads, and product mockups. These were my first logo drafts. I was trying to make the logo focused on the box and a jewelry item that would come out of said box.

After feedback on my first draft, I decided to go a different route with the color palette and jewelry choice of the logo. My first draft was considered too childish and reminded people of candy, which was not my primary goal. My goal is to make people look at the logo and see Pandora's Box as a good brand that's full of treasure and whimsical jewelry. I played a lot with typography to make it more aligned with Pandora's brand of elegance and sophistication.

After more feedback, I decided to use rearrange colors to see if I could have the look I desired. I kept the pearls because they are a sign of elegance. I made the box blue to resemble an actual jewelry container.

Logo Design Process

Candy Apple is a female-owned skincare brand that aims to make skin feel and smell good. The brand's selling point is all of their products having sweet candy scents to accentuate the hydrating and moisturizing benefits. As their graphic designer/product designer, I had to create a logo, brand templates, and product mockups.

Premise

Breaking into the skincare industry is no easy feat when you're competing with brands such as Neutrogena and The Ordinary. How does one settle on a primary selling point, nonetheless a brand voice that catches people's eyes?

The Problem

I proposed emphasizing the candy-scented aspects of the products. Most skincare products have neutral scents to appeal to a wide demographic. Having a scent that smells good and does not trigger sensitive skin is key to standing out in a highly competitive industry. I made logos, mockups, and photos that highlighted this aspect.
